You know how I enjoy keeping you informed of important news, and no way could I let you miss this one
Ever notice that no matter how solid a law or statute seems to be, someone can always find a way around, under or through it? The deal in Iowa is no totally nude dancing unless it's at an "arts center". When I read that, all I get is an image of a darkened club with a stage, a dance pole and a bunch of sweaty guys with sketch pads.

This whole controversy came up because the girl who danced in invisible clothes is 17 years old and the niece of Sheriff Steven MacDonald. Well now, that certainly puts a spin on things. Underage and related to da law. I firmly believe all persons under 18 years old should have to keep their clothes on at all times, even in the shower. We all know how many wackos there are out there, and I say let's not give their twisted imaginations any more fodder; Miley Cyrus is handling that nicely thanks very much.
Having said that, there's something wrong to me about any minor being in the same room with a pole.
That's why I'm not in favor of underage firemen either. As far as nude dancing, well I may not know arts centers, but I know what I like.Copyright © 2008 thehumorsmithchronicle
