A Car Wash With Heart

PAW PAW, Mich. (Associated Press) -- Pathologists who examined a heart found this week at a southwestern Michigan car wash still haven't determined whether it came from a human or an animal. They plan to submit the organ for DNA testing in an effort to find out once and for all. The owner of Soapy's Car Wash in Paw Paw discovered the heart Monday on the floor of a manual car wash bay.

Looks like somebody really put their heart into washing the car. Perhaps they were confused and thought the sign actually read "Please Pay With Pump". I imagine the owners were surprised at having their car wash turned into a CSI set. Some folks find wallets filled with money. Some find a penny or socks or empty bottles. What kind of freakish karma must one have to find a heart? And how exactly does somebody misplace one of those?

I think the owner is gonna be pretty easy to find. How far could they get without a heart? Oh yeah, I know, Donald Trump's gone pretty far, but your average person is most likely gonna need their heart. I feel it'd be a good idea to advertise. Nothing grabs the attention like a personals ad for a missing heart. You just have to be careful it doesn't get published in the romance column.

If it was stolen, then that opens up a whole new avenue. The police would have to find the thief and make a cardiac arrest.
